In August of 2015, Chris Lee opened Shanghaied Tattoo Parlor with the goal of providing a no nonsense tattoo shop. Shanghaied Tattoo Parlor is a modern approach to a traditional tattoo shop. From the layout of the shop to the flash on the walls, there is a tip of the hat to the old days, while simultaneously incorporating current sterilization practices and modern amenities. The shop aesthetic is intended to create a feeling of a nostalgic port city tattoo shop, while upholding an approachable, friendly nature to customer service. Shanghaied Tattoo Parlor is a place to get solid work in a sterile, comfortable environment.
ARTISTS
Chris Lee
Chris Lee is a native Oregonian who has been tattooing since 2006, settling on the coast in 2008 to call Astoria home. Chris uses a traditional approach to tattooing, but has worked hard at maintaining versatility. He prefers an image to have smooth black lines and solid fill regardless of the tattoo being black and grey or color. Above all, Chris wants the customer to be forever stoked on their tattoo, and think of the experience fondly. In 2015, Chris opened Shanghaied Tattoo Parlor to offer the best environment for tattooers and customers possible.

POLICIES DUE TO COVID-19

All tattoos will be done by appointment only

Client cannot bring anyone with them

All clients are required to wash their hands upon arrival and departure (we provide hand wipes)

All clients are to receive a temperature scan

Mask are required in the shop (masks are provided)

All clients must fill out a COVID-19 symptoms/exposure questionnaire

When a client arrives for their appointment, they are required to wait in their car/outside until be summoned

If a client or anyone they are in close contact with has any COVID-19 or flu like symptoms, please notify the artist immediately
